You see, my experience was with Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser Syndrome, or MRKH, a condition in which a person is born with an under-developed uterus, cervix, and vagina. About 1 in 5,000 people assigned female at birth are born with MRKH. Unfortunately, education, awareness, and support are scarce and make it feel much rarer than it actually is. The treatment path is also difficult, leaving many of us with MRKH feeling alone, ashamed, and with nowhere to turn. In my healing journey, I met so many people deeply affected by their own personal, health challenges.

I’m here to change all that. And a bunch of other stuff, too.

My Story

Hi. I’m Rima, your Transformation Coach, and I’m here to help you live a life of wholeness. First, let’s get some things out of the way…I was born without a uterus or vagina.

Kind of heavy, I know. Even after getting treatment, it was a secret I carried around like a boulder my whole life. First in front of me, then to the side, until I finally couldn’t stand the weight of it anymore. That stuff is hard to carry. You see, after years of feeling happiness was a thing for “those people over there”, I finally learned to set it down and enjoy life.

I personally witnessed the magical transformation that comes from a successful coaching partnership, as a client and coach. After years of dedicated self-growth, a coaching certification, and a consulting career in Adult Learning & Development, I focused on what really matters and created Sumaavi and the Trusted Circle.

At Sumaavi, we help you connect to a heartfelt community, shift attitudes and self-perception plus grow into the most confident, whole version of yourself. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. We are all meant to shine. It’s time you believed it, too!
